I think that writing can have such a sense of power -- when you hold a pen or set your fingers on the keyboard...Whatever you're feeling, whatever you want to say or however you want to use that power, you can. I love that you say it allows you to express your thoughts without limits because I think that's exactly what it's about -- more than an outlet, more than a form of expression...sometimes it's almost an extension of ourselves. I have always possessed a love for writing, but lately it has taken on a different meaning. It almost feels as if writing has become some sort of coping mechanism, one that allows me to express all of my thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc. without limits. I love it.
